The smallest Raspberry Pi just got a whole lot cooler. The Raspberry Pi Zero W carries the same form factor and specifications as the original Pi Zero and provides built-in WiFi and Bluetooth (4.1 + BLE)!

The Raspberry Pi Zero W packs all of the Raspberry Pi goodness that you know and love, into a package that's a mere 66mm x 30.5mm x 5mm. It's tiny! Perfect for projects that would otherwise be off limits to a full-size Raspberry Pi board, the Pi Zero W provides mini-HDMI,  micro-B On-the-Go (OTG) USB port, and an unsoldered 40-pin header for use with hardware, HATs, and other devices.

Check out our Pi Zero W Starter Kit if you're new to Raspberry Pi. Our Essentials Kit has the basics required to make the change from a full-sized Pi to the smaller Zero W.

  • Tweeting Pi-Zero-W GIF Camera
  • I made a Raspberry Pi camera that captures GIF files and optionally tweets them over WiFi! It's built around a Raspberry Pi Zero W and a Pi Camera module. The camera connects to a pre-programmed WiFi network to tweet the gifs, but you can also retrieve them from a shared folder if you have another computer on that network. Take your snaps outside with diffuse light for best results. Here's me mucking around in our ca...

  • This Raspberry Pi, IoT Doorbell is basically a simple smart Door Bell, which takes a photo of whoever rings it, and emails it to the specified email address, and keeps all the photos in a folder. (along with going Ding-Dong). Any Problems, just leave a comment/start a discussion below....
  • Mass SD card Image Writer
  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...

Great little machine. It is fun to prototype with and make little devices. Pi camera is a great addition to make a headless wifi-connected timelapse camera! (Posted on 18/05/2017)

After easily installing Raspbian on a microSD this was pretty much ready to go - no need to worry about Wi-Fi or Bluetooth drivers (I had such issues with the first Pi Zero). However, it can barely navigate web pages - which isn't too surprising, given the price and its core purpose. (Posted on 18/05/2017)

    Great board for running motioneyeos.
If like m eyou don't have a OTG USB cable handy, you can put the wifi un and pw in a wpa_supplicant.conf so you can ssh in.

Awesome fun and super powerful computer that I can carry anywhere I go. So many different projects, and the function of the Pi Zero can be changed by swapping out the micro SD card. I can carry around as many different configs as I like and swap them as I need. So awesome, and great price from Core Electronics as soon as it was available in Australia! (Posted on 18/05/2017)

Very nice little device, worth every cent. Super fast delivery, excellent service. Would highly recommend this product and Core electronics. Also the How To videos are very good. (Posted on 18/05/2017)

The product is of course excellent - but I really appreciated core-electronics quick shipping and after-sales service. If you are new to Raspberry Pi, I'd recommend getting a basic starter kit with the cables to hook up to a display and keyboard/mouse. Otherwise, this basic kit is cheap and excellent. Small but awesome.
Better to use the Raspbian lite on this.
or use the kali-linux core. :D

Order your peripherals online [Cable converters, SD cards etc.] as things are stupendously expensive in retails stores.

awesome budget device - but you will need adapters or custom cables for almost every part of it.

Its probably just worth getting the Pi3 without the adapters :) (Posted on 18/05/2017)

Efficient order process, good communications and really prompt shipping. Will become one of my go-to online stores.
