With all of the features we know and love of Raspberry Pi Zero W; the new Raspberry Pi Zero WH is the same board that also includes professionally soldered headers.

This allows educators, makers and first-time explorers of RPi to more quickly get started with the General Purpose Inputs and Outputs (GPIO). We highly recommend the use of a Pi Cobbler so you can easily use a breadboard for rapid electronics prototyping.

See the Raspberry Pi Zero W for specs and features.

  • mintyPi
  • This is an awesome project that takes about 6 hours to complete. Hours upon hours of endless fun thereafter! Ideally, some prior soldering experience is advantageous but if you take your time and practice before you start it's beginner friendly! The battery will give just over 3 hours on a single charge and can be recharged via the handy micro USB port. System updates, ROM transfers etc all possible with the Pi Zero W' built in...
  • Mass SD card Image Writer
  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...

Works perfectly with the DAC HAT I has sitting around. Now I have a media player which can handle almost anything you through at it. (Posted on 11/06/2018)

What a cute little linux computer - runs off a USB power bank for quite a few hours, and does what I need it to - even though I am running it with the full version of raspian, its my perfect little SPI rom flasher :)

Hint: this thing is easiest set up with PiBakery - just load up a simple recipe configuring wifi and the ssh portal, once your ssh'ed in, issue sudo apt-get update, sudo apt get upgrade, then enable the VNC server using raspi-config and change the password. :) (Posted on 8/06/2018)

So far I have ordered a couple of Raspi Bs and Zeros from Core Electronics. Their customer service is excellent. And their prices are very competitive.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. (Posted on 15/05/2018)

The pi zero is a fun tool to explore data acquisition, analysis and presentation. I studied measurement back in the 90s and the Enviro Hat has helped me continue learning. (Posted on 28/04/2018)

Ran this off a battery backpack scanning wifi points on a three hour walk. Collected 2k wifi points and the battery was still 75%. Its a brilliant little board for all kinds of projects when it runs on so little power. (Posted on 20/04/2018)

Excellent device to add to a breadboard to experiment. Have also looked at using it as a Samba server with a USB HDD. Use VNC as the user interface on an iPad to give a neat and compact solution (Posted on 17/04/2018)

Purchased this to use as a bread board test bed. The preinstalled header is very well done and saves you from having to solder the 40 pins yourself. (Posted on 15/03/2018)

The Pi-Zero is a superb product. I am using them for manufacturing MMDVM Hotspots. The device does require a copper heatsink so as to maintain a reasonable temperature. The wifi is completely adequate and the usb coupled to a usb-ethernet interface is superb. All in all i give the Raspberry PiZero a 9/10

The Pi Zero is great. I have many Raspberry pi’s all for different projects. This pi zero is very compact and easily connected to wifi and set up via ssh. This is my first pi zero and I have plans to buy more for different projects.

The project I used this one for was a ADS-B receiver to logs plane movements in my area. (Posted on 5/02/2018)

Great module. Purchased this as a test module for other projects, where the header makes testing easy during development. Once development is done, I then purchase the Pi Zero W to incorporate into the final product. (Posted on 30/01/2018)

I purchased three so far. With two new projects coming up I'll pick up two more. Love this single board computer and the extensive support for it. Truly great for learning as well as deployment in permanent applications. (Posted on 30/01/2018)
