It's used to convert the TTL standard to the RS485 standard. If the outside serial device is RS485 standard, you can attach this unit onto M5stack, therefore, to implement the communication with RS485 device by TTL protocol.

HUB is a unit that is used in order to expand the GROVE ports over the M5Stack device. For example, if we want sensors with different IIC addresses or output to 3 devices at the same time. (M5Stack device usually can output one device at a time to to limited amount of grove ports)

HEART is built using the MAX30100 chipset. MAX30100 is a complete pulse oximetry and heart-rate sensor system solution designed for the demanding requirements of wearable devices. The MAX30100 provides very small total solution size without sacrificing optical or electrical performance. Minimal external hardware components are needed for integration into a wearable device.
DAC, is a unit with the ability to convert digital signal to analog signal (voltage waveform signal) with support for audio waveform and more. It integrates a 12-bit high resolution DAC chip named MCP4725 which has an on-board non-volatile memory (EEPROM). The unit communicates with the M5Core using the I2C protocol.
