Raspberry Pi Zero is a super-small, hackable, and ultra-low-cost computer. This is the newest version (v1.3) with camera connector.

Unbelievably the super-small and super-affordable Raspberry Pi just got even smaller and even cheaper! Pi Zero is the heart of a Raspberry Pi on a tiny 65mm x 30mm board.

With mini-HDMI, micro-B OTG USB, and the same 40-pin GPIO it still has great connectivity although you'll probably want our adaptor kit to help you hook it up to your existing devices.

Pi Zero Features:

    • BCM 2835 SOC @ 1GHz
    • 1GHz
    • 512MB of RAM
    • micro-SD
    • mini-HDMI
    • micro-B USB for data
    • micro-B USB for power
    • CSI camera connector (needs adaptor cable)
    • Unpopulated 40-pin GPIO connector
    • Compatible with existing HAT addons
    • Dimensions: 65mm x 30mm x 5mm

    • This project is a raspberry pi powered photo both. It uses a raspberry pi zero and the raspberry pi camera. All the code has been uploaded to GitHub for you. • Mass SD card Image Writer
    • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...

Ideally, some prior soldering experience is advantageous but if you take your time and practice before you start it's beginner friendly! Tiny powerful computer - without wireless network connection. You've already heard all about them. If only we could buy a few at a time and not pay postage on each. (Posted on 25/11/2017)

This is a tiny yet powerful board and a great add on as a controller for projects with a low cost per unit and endless possibilities. I'm using it to control several ESP32 projects that have great IO on them but I can control multiple units with this board. (Posted on 16/11/2017)

The Pi worked fine out of the box and took very little set up to get going. I connected it to an esp8266 and now I have a nice weather station. (Posted on 27/09/2017)

Great device but i didn't realise that the lack of on board eithernet means you have to buy a USB eithernet adaptor that costs almost as much as a Pi 3. On reflection the zero w may have been the one to get. Still great especially if you don't need eithernet for your application. (Posted on 28/08/2017)

Very good value for money, excellent layout and footprint. More than enough power for most Rasberry Pi applications while being much cheaper and smaller than it's larger siblings. (Posted on 23/08/2017)

I already own the Pi2B and Pi3, so the Pi Zero was a no brainer. They are so small you can use them as a web server, printer serveror any thing at all really.
I was so impressed that I have ordered the Pi Zero W (with Wifi), Call back soon to see my review on that ;-)

Pros: Does what a Pi should and even better value
Cons: Buyers should be aware that USB OTG cable is near mandatory. Limit of 1/customer ???

Great magic board! It is really very geek friendly device because even the firmware update is stored in the MicroSD card, I have messed up the firmware update once and was wondering whether I have "bricked" my RP Zero but of course not! Just re-burn Raspbian to the MicroSD card and everything is back to duty!

Full operating system make this board super easy to set up and debug the mixed chaos hidden behind both hardware and software. Zero comes without WiFi + Bluetooth which is perfectly fit my purpose of working on NRF24L01 communication sniffer without extra interference.

The only drawback is this tiny powerful board is so hard to get with limited supply! Raspberry Pi foundation really need pickup their manufacturing speed to satisfy the eager customers :D. (Posted on 12/07/2017)
