xTool M2 CMYK Inkjet Printing Module

Full-colour artwork and the cut that breaks your artwork free, in one job, without the material ever moving.

Alignment/Registration is the usual issue in print-then-cut workflows: print on an office printer, carry the sheet to the cutter, align it, and hope. This module removes that step entirely; the M2's dual-camera system positions the artwork before printing and re-references it before cutting, holding combined processing accuracy to within 0.3 mm.

The module mounts magnetically to the M2's multi-function holder and swaps with the laser head tool-free, so switching between printing and engraving takes seconds. A motorised bottom cap opens and closes automatically during processing to stop the nozzle drying out between jobs.

Setup is a one-off: fasten the bottom cap retainer plate to the reserved mounting hole on the M2 baseplate, attach the module to the holder, connect the module cable, then run the position calibration in xTool software using the supplied A5 card.

Features

• Prints true CMYK with a dedicated black cartridge channel, so text and dark detail stay solid rather than muddying into a composite black

• Holds print-to-cut alignment within 0.3 mm by re-using the M2's camera positioning - no registration marks or manual alignment

• Resolves fine detail at 1200 DPI with 6 pL colour droplets, fine enough for photographic gradients and small fonts

• Covers 391.5 × 290 mm in a single pass, comfortably clearing an A4 sheet without tiling

• Swaps tool-free via magnetic mounting, so a print-then-cut job needs no downtime between stages

• Protects the nozzle automatically — the bottom cap opens and closes under machine control, so an idle module doesn't dry out

• Prints directly onto adhesive vinyl, cardstock, photo and tattoo transfer paper, felt, satin and shrink plastic; absorbent stock like wood and canvas takes a fixative spray first
