The Uputronics 868MHz SDR Filtered Preamp combines a SAW bandpass filter and low-noise amplifier to dramatically enhance reception quality for software-defined radio applications. This precision-engineered device effectively eliminates out-of-band interference while providing additional gain, making it an invaluable tool for receiving FLARM, LoRa, and ISM band signals with exceptional clarity.

Key Features
  • MiniCircuits PSA4-5043+ LNA providing 16dB gain at 868MHz
  • 868MHz SAW bandpass filter with 15MHz bandwidth
  • Ultra-low noise figure of 0.75dB
  • Dual power options: USB-C or 5V bias-tee input
  • High-quality SMA female connectors for reliable connections
  • Visual power indication via RED LED
  • Compact and robust design for laboratory or field use
How to Use

Installation is straightforward - simply connect the preamp between your antenna and SDR receiver using the SMA connectors. Power can be supplied either through the USB-C port or via bias-tee from compatible devices like the Airspy HackRF One. For optimal performance, pair with an appropriate 868MHz antenna such as the SparkFun DiPole Antenna - SMA, 2dBi (868MHz).

Important Usage Notes

  • This unit is designed for reception only - do not transmit through it
  • Maximum bias-tee input voltage is 5V
  • Not suitable for Helium cryptomining applications due to no TX bypass
