The Pico-UPS-B is a dedicated UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) module designed for Raspberry Pi Pico. It incorporates a Li-po battery switching charger with power path management, and also features onboard voltage/current monitoring via an I2C connection.

SAFETY CAUTIONS

  • Li-ion and Li-po batteries can be unstable and may cause fire or injury if not used properly.
  • Ensure correct polarity when charging or discharging; avoid using poor-quality chargers.
  • Do not mix old batteries with new ones, or use batteries from different brands together.
  • When buying lithium batteries, ensure compatibility with your expansion board and choose reliable manufacturers. Conduct aging tests for safety.
  • Lithium batteries should be replaced after reaching their cycle limit or after two years, whichever comes first.
  • Store batteries carefully, away from flammable materials and out of reach of children to avoid accidents.
