Every maker who has left a Raspberry Pi running knows the failure: it works for months, maybe if we're lucky - years, then one morning the filesystem is read-only and the logs stop. Choosing the Right Card

This card is tuned for sustained sequential writes and rewrite endurance — ideal for dataloggers, camera capture, rolling logs, dash cams and security cameras. It carries no A1/A2 application-performance class, so if your priority is faster random access for a Raspberry Pi OS root filesystem, an A2-rated card may feel quicker day to day. Many makers run both: an A2 card for the OS (read-only), and this one for the data partition.
