RPLiDAR S3 is a 360-degree ToF(Time of Flight) laser sensing scanner that samples up to 32 kHz with 0.1125° angular resolution, capable of generating 2D point cloud map information up to 40m radius. It suits for both indoor and outdoor installation, with high light resistance and IP65 features. It also comes with a small, compact, and Class One eye safety rating design.

RPLiDAR S3 comes with upgraded produce, by increasing the operating performance of hardware and optimizing the internal algorithms. It applies the SLAMTEC Time of Flight(SL-ToF) theory that emits and receives the laser pulse to measure the distance by calculating the flight time. This self-developed algorithm will improve environmental light immunity and measurement accuracy.

It implements 2D point cloud map information generating and you can deploy it to map, navigate, position robot, model object or other practically use. By its small and compact structure, along with its IEC-60825 Class 1 eye safety rating, the RPLiDAR S3 can perform high standards of operation in your property of which the output laser power is harmless to the human eye.

As it to say, what the RPLiDAR S3 brings are 360 degrees, 40M radius, 32 kHz light detection and ranging, 0.1125° angular resolution by 10Hz rotational speed.

This lidar performs equally well in measuring distances when facing low-reflectivity objects such as black color doors and anti-reflective coating objects, as it can measure up to a distance of 15 meters with a 10% reflectivity.

The IP65 design of this precision mechanical equipment is well protected from foreign bodies such as tools, dirt and liquid water. Additionally, it retains its functionality against high-intensity 80000 lux light. All of these make it suitable for outdoor and field installation, especially capable of working under the big sun on sunny days.

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

  • $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
  • $6+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
  • $10+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
  • Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:
