Due to a shortage in the Asia/Pacific region of this product, we will be fulfilling orders with an alternate Sandisk 16Gb class 10 MicroSD card with Noobs. This product is identical in use, the only difference being it does not come with the official Raspberry Pi Logo.

Here it is, the Pi Zero W Starter Kit! It comes with everything you need, and we mean everything!

If you've been itching to get started with the Pi Zero W and want to get up and running straight away, then this is the kit for, all you need is a display and a keyboard/mouse and you're set. If you don't have a spare HDMI cable then we have those available as well.

What's in the Box

Buying as a pack will save us time picking your order, and we pass on the savings to you. This kit is easily 20% cheaper than buying separately.

Michael has put together a great guide (see the below tutorials) for getting started with this kit.

  • Tweeting Pi-Zero-W GIF Camera
  • I made a Raspberry Pi camera that captures GIF files and optionally tweets them over WiFi! It's built around a Raspberry Pi Zero W and a Pi Camera module. The camera connects to a pre-programmed WiFi network to tweet the gifs, but you can also retrieve them from a shared folder if you have another computer on that network. Take your snaps outside with diffuse light for best results. Here's me mucking around in our ca...

  • We made a Pi Zero W retro-games console! The nostalgia is making me dizzy! If you'd like to build your own, we've put together a couple of wishlists to make things easier: For the Pi Zero W build, like in this project, check out the PiGRRL 2 Zero W wishlist To stay true to the original project, and have audio built into your PiGRRL2, check out the PiGRRL 2 Wishlist. • Mass SD card Image Writer
  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...
  • Pi Zero - Cloud Print Server
  • I really love the reliability of my Fuji wireless mono laser printer. Best printer I've ever owned. However, it was released without Google Cloud Print. This required constant driver installation on new devices and the inconvenience of not being able to print documents until I am home. I had quite a few solutions in mind such as moving it near the router that could act as a print server. Too much effort ;) This is where the Rasp...
  • Retro Hand held Pi Zero
  • I bought a Pi zero w from Core Electronics for a friend, also bought the official case too but thought I'd fit the Pi into something he can show off! I used an old hand held game case I had laying around, I had to remove the original circuit board and plan where to place the Pi board....

This kit was a great way to get a Raspberry Pi Zero W up to play with, I mean experiment with. Saved me the usual scrabble about finding cables etc.
Ten minutes after opening the box and I was away with it.
Really pleased with this kit. (Posted on 20/08/2017)

This was my first purchase from Core and my first Raspberry Pi. It is a great intro to the Pi as you get everything you need to get started. I watched the getting started video and I was up and running in no time. Great kit and good price and delivered fast from Newcastle Au. (Posted on 14/08/2017)

Excellent kit with all you need except header, and booted up without any issues first time.
If you are new to Raspberry Pi and are wanting to learn all about them the Raspberry Pi 3 b is a better option. With the zero you only have one USB for keyboard, mouse and anything else and you have to solder on a header if you want to use GIO. (Posted on 28/07/2017)

A great kit that contains everything you need to get started with the Pi Zero. The case comes with 3 lids to suit different applications. Other than the plain lid, one has a mount for the Pi Camera, one allows for a header to be soldered to the board and directly accessed with the lid in place. (Posted on 26/06/2017)

Great little package. Have it set up headless and enabled VNC server so I can remote on to it without needing to set up another keyboard, monitor or mouse. Enjoying going through the Core Electronics tutorial videos. (Posted on 8/06/2017)
