This kit is a perfect introduction into the world of Electronics for makers as young as 10, right up to adults looking to expand their skill-set. The Project Lab Manual guides learners through the basics of reading schematics and bullding circuits, eventually working up to the explanation of various common circuits and how to assemble them using all of included parts!

Note: Designed for ages 10+. If you are looking to introduce electronics to a younger child, We recommend the 130 in 1 Electronics Playground or Snap Circuits series of electronic kits.

Develop an understanding of Electronics principles - With 200 projects to work through, you'll develop a keen understanding of electronics principles as you work your way from the easier circuits to the more challenging ones.
Comprehensive guidance - The Lab Manual not only shows the schematic for each circuit, but provides you with an explanation of how the components interract, building upon the principles learned in earlier projects.
Standalone - The lab kit is completely standalone and relies on AA batteries to power your circuits. You'll be able to move it around without destroying your circuits.
Accessible and simple connections - Each electrical component is broken out to metal springs (1 per leg) that allow for easy jumping around the lab kit in building your circuits.
Clearly labelled - The components are all clearly labelled with the appropriate schematic symbol, building further confidence and intuition when working with components.

How to use the Lab Kit

The kit is really straightforward, you'll just need 6x AA Batteries to operate it. Every thing else is covered in detail from start to finish in the Lab Manual that comes with your kit.

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

$3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
$6+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
$10+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

$11+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
$16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
