Switching large loads with a microcontroller is a common task and there are a lot of ways to approach it. In most applications, nothing beats a good old-fashioned relay, and a relay with an opto-isolated input to protect your controller? That's even better.

This 8 Relay Control Board gives you opto-isolated, logic-level control over 8 channels of relays. Each relay channel is opto-isolated from its corresponding logic input, the inputs accept both 3V and 5V logic, and a status LED on each channel makes it easy to tell at a glance which relay is energized. All LEDs on the board, including the power indicator, are connected through cuttable solder jumpers so they can be disabled if you don't need them. The relays are rated to 5A/250VAC, making them useful for a lot of power control applications.

Experimental Product: SparkX products are rapidly produced to bring you the most cutting edge technology as it becomes available. These products are tested but come with no guarantees. Live technical support is not available for SparkX products. Head on over to our forum for support or to ask a question.
