The Pimoroni 3-in-1 Environmental Sensor Stick combines temperature, pressure, humidity, light, proximity, and motion sensing capabilities into a compact, Qw/ST-compatible form factor. This versatile sensor suite provides comprehensive environmental monitoring and motion detection for a wide range of electronic projects and applications.

    • Precise temperature readings with ±1.0°C accuracy
    • Barometric pressure measurements with ±1 hPa accuracy
    • Relative humidity sensing with ±3% accuracy
  • LTR-559ALS-01 light and proximity sensor featuring:
    • Wide light detection range from 0.01 to 64,000 lux
    • IR/UV filtering for accurate readings
    • Proximity detection up to ~5cm
    • 50/60Hz flicker rejection
  • LSM6DS3TR-C accelerometer and gyroscope providing:
    • Configurable acceleration scales: ±2/±4/±8/±16g
    • Gyroscopic sensing: ±125/±250/±500/±1000/±2000 dps
    • Built-in pedometer and step detection
    • Tap, double-tap, and free-fall detection
  • Dual Qw/ST connectors for easy daisy-chaining
  • 3.3V compatible operation
How to Use

Integration is straightforward using the Qw/ST connectors - simply connect to your compatible microcontroller using a Qw/ST cable. For Raspberry Pi Pico projects, the BME280 and LTR559 drivers are pre-installed in Pimoroni's custom MicroPython builds. The LSM6DS3 sensor requires installing the separate MicroPython library through Thonny's package manager.

For Raspberry Pi computers, comprehensive Python libraries are available for each sensor component, enabling quick implementation of environmental monitoring and motion sensing capabilities.

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

  • $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
  • $7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
  • $11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
  • Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

  • $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
  • $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
