This tiny stepper motor is the same quality and step-size as the big NEMA-17's Adafruit stock, but so cute so it will work with compact CNC builds. This 4-wire bipolar stepper has 1.8° per step for smooth motion and a nice holding torque. The motor was specified to have a max current of 600mA so that it could be driven easily with an Adafruit motor shield for Arduino, Motor Bonnet for Raspberry Pi or Adafruit's Feather Motor controller & and a wall adapter or lead-acid battery. It's rated for 3.9V, if you have a stepper driver with current limiting, use that to keep the power down. If you have a non-current-limiting driver such as the motor shield/hat/feather Adafruit found 5V DC power worked well to power the stepper controller. The cable has ready-to-go wires - the drive-shaft does not have a D cut in it, but you can clamp to it pretty easily. Adafruit drove it with an Adafruit motor shield for Arduino and it hummed along nicely at 50 RPM. To connect to Adafruit's shield/hat/featherwing, put the wires in this order: Black, Red, skip ground if there is one, Green, Yellow.
