A pocket-sized decibel meter that turns "that sounds loud" into a measured number, reading sound pressure levels from 30 to 130dB on a crisp 2-inch colour IPS screen.

Our ears are poor judges of loudness, and they adapt quickly to sustained noise. Switch to A-weighting to measure the way human hearing perceives sound, ideal for checking workshop tools, appliances, traffic or a neighbour's party. Switch to C-weighting to capture the low-frequency energy A-weighting rolls off, handy when setting up subwoofers, balancing speakers or assessing machinery rumble.

Fast (125ms) and Slow (1s) response modes let you track sharp, impulsive sounds or average out a fluctuating source, while the real-time curve shows the last 30 seconds of sound so you can see exactly when levels spike. Set high and low thresholds and the meter logs the 30 most recent alarm events for later review.

It runs from a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable battery topped up over USB-C, so there are no coin cells to hunt down. For legal or workplace compliance testing, use a certified, calibrated sound level meter; this one is built for fast, practical everyday measurement.

Features

  • Measure everything from a quiet room to a loud concert with a 30–130dB range and 0.1dB resolution
  • Choose how the meter hears with A-weighting (human hearing) or C-weighting (low-frequency and peak content)
  • Catch quick bangs or steady drones by switching between Fast (125ms) and Slow (1s) response
  • See trends, not just numbers: the real-time curve plots the last 30 seconds of sound level
  • Never miss a noise event, with adjustable high/low thresholds (0–130dB), LED alarm and a record of the 30 most recent alarms
  • Read it clearly anywhere on the 2-inch colour IPS display, with light/dark themes and 5–100% brightness
  • Skip disposable batteries thanks to the built-in 1500mAh rechargeable cell with USB-C charging
  • Save charge automatically with auto power-off adjustable from 1 to 60 minutes
  • Take it anywhere: a compact handheld body with a storage bag included
