This handy HDMI and USB Type-C Panel Mount Extension cable will make it easy to extend your project that needs both power/data over USB and has a video output or input signal over classic HDMI connectors. You get plenty of extra cable too, 1 meter of each, for plenty of flexibility in mounting.

Adafruit tested this with Adafruit's Feather DVI as well as with a Raspberry Pi (using a micro/mini HDMI adapter dongle) and it worked great for both data and power over USB with clear video.

It's designed to easily attach to a panel up to 16mm thick, or as thin as a few mm. Perfect for adding a to your project enclosure! Adafruit like this plug in particular for its solid body, you just need one large center hole about 24mm diameter, and two mounting holes at the two corners, 24mm x 24mm.
