Over twenty sensors, displays and actuators arrive in one box with a Raspberry Pi Pico ready to drive them - enough hardware to keep a beginner busy for ages, and slingshot them into a larger project.

Most starter kits stall at the same point: you finish the bundled experiments, want to measure something real, and discover the next module is another order and another week of waiting. This kit front-loads the breadth instead - motion, distance, temperature, humidity, sound, light, vibration, tilt, orientation and rain sensing are all in the box, alongside four different display technologies and a relay for switching different kinds of loads.

Getting started takes minutes. Hold BOOTSEL, plug the Pico into USB, drag the MicroPython UF2 across, and open Thonny - the demo code for every experiment is published on GitHub with wiring diagrams, so the first sensor is running before the box is fully unpacked.

The included Pico Breadboard Kit gives the Pico a labelled, solderless home so the pinout is readable while you wire, and the half-size breadboard handles the connection side. Modules are standard 3.3 V/5 V hobby parts, so they carry across to Raspberry Pi SBCs, ESP32, Arduino and Jetson boards once the Pico projects are finished.

Features

  • Twenty-plus modules in a single easy to use kit - no follow-up orders to complete a project
  • Four display types (RGB matrix, 4-Character 7-segment , 16 x 2 Character LCD, 128x64 pixel OLED) so you can pick the right readout for the job
  • Wiring diagrams and working MicroPython demo code published for every experiment
  • Pico Breadboard Kit keeps the Pico's pinout labelled and accessible while prototyping
  • Modules reuse standard interfaces, so they carry over to Raspberry Pi, ESP32, Arduino and Jetson boards
