Clean cuts through thick carbon steel come down to gas dynamics and focal position, not just raw laser power. This add-on set gives the MetalFab CNC Cutter both - a pair of double-layer nozzles and a 20mm focus extension tube, built for oxygen-assisted cutting of plate 2mm and thicker.
It fills a real gap in the kit. The double-layer nozzle and the focus extension tube are not supplied in the MetalFab CNC Cutter package, so oxygen cutting on carbon steel and galvanised sheet needs this set before you can start.
Setup is quick. The double-layer nozzles fit the cutting tip (not the welding tip); choose the 1.0mm nozzle for sheet below 8mm and the 1.2mm nozzle for 8mm and above, fit the 20mm extension tube, then recalibrate the focus position - xTool recommends a focus of -2 when cutting 5mm carbon steel with the 20mm tube. Run oxygen at 0.06 to 0.07 MPa for carbon steel and galvanised sheet over 2mm.

- Genuine xTool components, so the thread and seat on the cutting tip are exact - no adapters, shims or guesswork
- Supplied as a separate add-on, which also makes it the spare set to keep on the shelf before a nozzle wears out mid-job

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.
Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.
International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:
- $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
- $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)
If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
