F2 Ultra - Machine Only (Single Laser)

The xTool F2 Ultra (60W MOPA) is a specialised galvo laser station dedicated to high-performance metal marking and deep engraving. Unlike standard fibre lasers that operate at fixed pulse widths, this unit utilises Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) technology, giving you precise control over pulse duration (2ns–500ns) to unlock advanced processing capabilities unavailable to entry-level machines.

For makers and jewellers, achieving consistent colour on stainless steel or smooth finishes on plastics has traditionally required expensive industrial floor-standing units. The F2 Ultra solves this by packing 60W of raw fibre power into a desktop form factor. This substantial power overhead allows for deep relief engraving on brass and aluminium, and rapid annealing of metals for vibrant colour marking without the use of chemical additives or pigments.

Designed for serial production, the machine features a high-speed galvanometer system capable of 15,000mm/s - significantly faster than gantry-based systems. With dual 48MP cameras for 0.2mm visual alignment accuracy and a Class 1 fully enclosed chassis, ensuring safe operation in retail environments and educational workshops.
