If you pick up either of our 11x5 or 5x5 point mini solderless breadboards you may notice they have little bumps on the bottom. Those nubs can snap onto...
This SparkFun Triple-Axis Accelerometer Breakout is a simple Qwiic breakout for the KX132 digital accelerometer from Kionix. The KX132 is a low-power, 16-bit resolution...
The SparkFun 9DoF IMU Breakout incorporates all the amazing features of Invensense's ICM-20948 into a Qwiic-enabled breakout board complete with a logic shifter...
The SparkFun OpenScale is a simple-to-use, open source solution for measuring weight and temperature. It has the ability to read multiple types of load cells and offers a simple-to-use serial menu to configure calibration value, sample rate, time stamp and units of precision.
The SparkFun Load Cell Amplifier is a small breakout board for the HX711 IC that allows you to easily read load cells to measure weight. By connecting the amplifier to your microcontroller you will be able to read the changes in the resistance of the load cell, and with some calibration you’ll be able to get very accurate weight measurements. This can be handy for creating your own industrial scale, process control or simple presence detection.
The SparkFun Load Sensor Combinator is a bare PCB that combines four load sensors into a standard four-wire Wheatstone bridge configuration. If you open up an electronic bathroom scale, you’ll find a large rat’s nest of wires. The Load Sensor Combinator was created to combine the 12 wires found in a bathroom scale into the standard four-wire Wheatstone bridge configuration.
This is a simple pack of five Pink LilyPad LEDs that are still attached to one another, letting you snap the LEDs apart at your leisure to sew into clothing or whatever else you can dream up.
The Solder Vacuum, a great (and sometimes under appreciated) little tool for solder rework. It allows you to pull the molten solder out of a connection or via with ease. To use it you simply depress the plunger, heat up your solder, place the nozzle over the solder you want to remove and finally just push the button. The piston pops up and the solder disappears!
These are Philips-head M3 screws. They are 12mm long and come in packs of three. This is the screw size that the MiP robotic Platform and its add-on boards uses. Check below for the associated hardware.
This is a USB 2.0 type B to Micro-B 5-pin black cable. You know, the mini-B connector that usually comes with cell phones, Cameras, MP3 players, etc. We specifically like these 6" long cables because using USB peripherals in projects within a small enclosure is much easier these days, and most times you really don’t need six feet of cable to do that. You can still use this USB cable with our Micro-USB LiPo Charger Basic, Pro Micros, Micro-B USB breakout, or anything else that utilizes a Micro-B connector type!
Tip tinner is a good thing to have in your arsenal of soldering supplies. Composed of a mild acid, it helps remove baked on residue (for when you melt your desk top) and helps prevent oxidation (the nasty black stuff) that accumulates on your soldering tip when not in use. Comes in a sealed 20 gram disk. This tinner is Lead Free.
These are a pair of basic, 65mm wheels with black rubber tires. These wheels are the same ones designed to fit onto DAGUs right angle gear motors utilized in the Magician Chassis and RedBot Kit. With these wheels you will be able to get almost any beginners robot project moving.
These are a pair of right angle, hobby gearmotors from DAGU. These gearmotors are the same ones utilized in the Magician Chassis and RedBot Kit and offer a cheap and easy to use setup to get your wheels turning. Due to these gear motors being at a right angle, you will also be able to track and control the rotation of your wheels!
