Find damp before it turns into rot, mould or warped boards – this pinless inductive meter reads moisture in timber, plaster and brick simply by pressing its sensor pad flat against the surface.
Pin-type meters leave holes in finished timber, flooring and painted walls. Inductive sensing measures through the surface instead, reaching up to 17mm deep, so you can check furniture stock, floorboards, firewood or a suspect wall without marking it.
Choose the material mode, place the sensor and read the result on the 2.4" colour display. Set an alarm threshold and the meter flags any reading above it with a tone and colour change, which makes it fast to sweep a whole wall or a stack of boards.
