Capture up to 32 digital signals at once and see exactly how your firmware, buses and glue logic interact. A 4Gbit hardware buffer and sampling up to 1GSa/s turn hard-to-catch timing faults into waveforms you can zoom, measure and decode on your PC.

Wide parallel buses, chained SPI devices and FPGA designs quickly outgrow 8- and 16-channel analysers. With all 32 channels active, the DLA-32 Plus still samples at 250MSa/s into its onboard memory, or streams continuously at 50MSa/s over USB 3.0 for long captures limited only by your computer's RAM.

It goes beyond simple edge triggers too. Serial pattern matching and parallel triggering with up to 16 configurable levels let you trap one specific bus event. Four 3.3V PWM outputs (1Hz to 20MHz) can supply test clocks or stimulus without a separate signal generator.

Getting started is quick:

  • Install the DLA-Logic software and driver on a Windows PC
  • Connect to a USB 3.0 port directly on the computer, not through a hub
  • Wire GND and your signals to the shielded leads, then set the threshold voltage to match your logic level
  • Capture, then add protocol decoders to read the traffic

Features

  • Monitor wide parallel buses and several serial interfaces at once across 32 digital channels
  • Resolve fast edges with up to 1GSa/s sampling on up to 8 channels, and 250MSa/s across all 32
  • Store large high-speed captures in 4Gbit of onboard memory instead of relying on the USB link
  • Record long sessions in Stream mode at up to 50MSa/s on all 32 channels, using USB 3.0's 5Gbps bandwidth
  • Switch between Buffer, Stream and Roll modes for burst capture, long-duration logging or live monitoring
  • Isolate rare events with serial and parallel triggering (up to 16 parallel trigger levels), plus rising, falling, high, low and any-edge triggers
  • Decode I²C, SPI, UART and many more with over 120 protocol decoders, plus an open library for custom protocols
  • Work with mixed logic levels using a threshold adjustable from -5V to +5V in 0.1V steps, with inputs rated to ±40V
  • Generate test signals from 4 PWM outputs at 3.3V, from 1Hz to 20MHz
  • Measure pulse width, period, frequency, duty cycle and time differences between channels directly in the software
  • Export captures as CSV or BIN for analysis in other tools, or save full projects for later
  • Reduce noise and crosstalk with 1.27mm shielded lead connectors
  • Fits easily in a laptop bag: a slim metal enclosure about 11.5mm thick, with a USB-C port and a status LED
