We've built this kit for people whom already have Raspberry Pi hardware (power supply, microSD cards, etc) and are experiencing Pi Zero W for the first time. This kit has all the specific bits and pieces you need to get going. If you are new to the wonderful world that is Raspberry Pi and don't have all the accessories for projects, then instead checkout our Raspberry Pi Zero W Starter Kit.

To get your Pi properly up and running, you'll need a power supply (we highly recommend the Official Raspberry Pi Power Supply), microSD card, a display, and a keyboard/mouse. The beauty of the Pi Zero is that once you've got it setup and configured, you can run it as a headless system which means you can take advantage of its wireless functionality to communicate and interact with the system via a network.

Buying the kit will save you at least 20% compared to grabbing bits separately.

  • Tweeting Pi-Zero-W GIF Camera
  • I made a Raspberry Pi camera that captures GIF files and optionally tweets them over WiFi! It's built around a Raspberry Pi Zero W and a Pi Camera module. The camera connects to a pre-programmed WiFi network to tweet the gifs, but you can also retrieve them from a shared folder if you have another computer on that network. Take your snaps outside with diffuse light for best results. Here's me mucking around in our ca...

  • We made a Pi Zero W retro-games console! The nostalgia is making me dizzy! If you'd like to build your own, we've put together a couple of wishlists to make things easier: For the Pi Zero W build, like in this project, check out the PiGRRL 2 Zero W wishlist To stay true to the original project, and have audio built into your PiGRRL2, check out the PiGRRL 2 Wishlist. • Mass SD card Image Writer
  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...
  • Raspberry Pi IoT Doorbell
  • This Raspberry Pi, IoT Doorbell is basically a simple smart Door Bell, which takes a photo of whoever rings it, and emails it to the specified email address, and keeps all the photos in a folder. (along with going Ding-Dong). Any Problems, just leave a comment/start a discussion below....
  • Raspberry Pi OSMC - Custom Media Center
  • I wanted to upgrade my media center (RPi B+ with Xbian) to something a bit nicer, more stable and more accessible than just the RPi in a basic plastic case.

Excellent kit, it was just a matter of connecting HDMI with the adapter and plug in a power supply and an sd card that I had created for my B+. I did need to use a USB hub with the OTG cable to get started, as I did not have a blue tooth keyboard. The case gives me multiple mounting options, very pleased. (Posted on 17/07/2017)

I stumbled across Core Electronics looking for a supplier of Raspberry Pi Zero related products. Have to say that I am most impressed with the delivery and the communication with how my order was progressed. The Pi Zero arrived next day without any hassles. Great Job you guys, and to find that you are local (Kotara) is a real significant bonus. (Posted on 14/06/2017)

I own two Zero's, so bought one kit and individual components for the other one. Kit is cheaper.

Easiest and cheapest way to make sure you have everything you need. Great for a present too. If you've got a micro SD set up with NOOBs and a decent phone charger is just plug and play. (Posted on 27/05/2017)

I get that this if for people who already know something about Pis, but the complete lack of any documentation whatsoever - not a quick start guide, nor a board diagram, nor a packing list that tells you what the ribbon cable is for - was a bit unexpected. On the plus side, it's very cheap.
