Makera Carvera is a compact desktop CNC designed for precision work with built‑in automation and clean operation. It combines auto tool changing, auto probing, an internal dust collection system, an in-built laser and support for an optional 4th axis.

Auto Tool Changing & Auto Probing

Automatically swap end mills and engraving bits on the Makera Carvera desktop CNC router to minimise manual setup and accelerate precision milling, PCB routing and part fabrication. The integrated auto-probe sensor handles workpiece positioning and tool calibration for consistent accuracy and precision in any project.

Built-In Dust Collection

The Makera Carvera desktop CNC router includes an integrated dust collection and extraction system that captures chips and debris at the spindle head. The built-in vacuum module maintains a clean work area, reduces airborne dust, and makes cleanup for wood, plastic and PCB milling simple.

Integrated Laser Module

Leave your mark on materials with a 2.5W diode laser - built right into the gantry. No interuptions or tool changes between CNC milling and engraving.

Optional 4th Axis Module

Enhance the Makera Carvera desktop CNC router with the optional 4th axis rotary module for true 4-axis simultaneous machining. Perform cylindrical machining, double-sided routing and full 3D relief carving on shafts, tubes and complex contours with 360° part rotation.

Endless Capabilities

PCBs: Load Gerber or PCB routing files into the Makera Carvera desktop CNC router for on-request PCB milling. Auto tool changing, auto-levelling, a solder-mask removal tool, and an optional laser engraving module streamline your electronics prototyping workflow.
Robot Parts: CNC mill durable plastics, aluminium and composites to produce load-bearing brackets, gears and mounts stronger than 3D-printed alternatives - no outsourcing required.
Artwork: Carve intricate designs in wood, acrylic, metal or stone with the Carvera’s high-speed spindle. Achieve smooth surfaces and fine detail, exactly as you designed it.
Custom, unique useful... Stuff: There really isn't much you can't make with the Carvera, so design and make custom parts that work for you!

Automation: Automatic tool changer with a 6‑tool library and auto probing. One wireless probe is included.

- Optional 4th‑axis work area: Ø92 mm × 240 mm (Ø3.6 × 9.4 in). Gantry clearance: 120 mm (4.7 in).
Spindle: 200 W, 0–15,000 RPM closed‑loop control. Integrated 1/8 in collet (optional 1/4 in, 6 mm, 4 mm). Air‑cooled; supports external air‑assist connection.
Motion system: Servo motors on X/Y/Z (NEMA17 stepper for optional A axis), ball screws with linear rails, max travel speed 6000 mm/min. The optional 4th axis uses a harmonic drive.
Precision: Spindle runout < 0.01 mm (0.0004 in); resolution 0.01 mm (0.0004 in).
Dust collection: Internal dust collection with a 0.8 L dust tank.
Laser: 2.5 W, 445 nm diode module.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.
