HackSpace Magazine Issue #3 - February 2018
Retired Product
Search for an alternativeHackSpace Magazine is the monthly magazine for the modern maker! Issue #3 highlights Scrap Heap Hacking, a perfect complement to Adafruit Crickit boards and Adafruit's Trashbots!
From the editor, Ben Everard, "We live in a throw-away society, and it's destroying the planet ... As makers and hackers, Adafruit are in a position to change this. This month Adafruit are taking a look at how to move in the opposite direction and reuse parts from scrapped products. This isn't so much a skill as a state of mind. If you stop seeing old products as something to dispose of and start seeing them as the parts for your next project, you can save money, save the planet, and make some truly unique creations."
This issue is bootloaded (ok, forgive us) with tons of DIY projects (how to make your own leather belt or laser trip-wires for an indoor drone racing game!), an interview with the co-founders of Farm Urban, tutorials on 3D printing or using the ESP8266 for an infrared rangefinder, and so much more!
Adafruit have got a bunch left over from an Adabox giveaway - so get your copy today!
