We had Grove - OLED Display 0.96" (SSD1315), a monochrome(white) 128×64 pixels passive display matrix module with Grove I2C Interface, and now we have the Grove - OLED Yellow&Blue Display 0.96 (SSD1315), a blue and yellow bi-colour display with 128*64 resolution.
Key Features
The Grove - OLED Yellow&Blue Display 0.96 (SSD1315) is a blue and yellow bi-colour display with 128*64 resolution. Compared with LCDs, there are many advantages of OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) like self-emission, high contrast ratio, slim/thin outline, wide viewing angle and low power consumption. The display works on both 3.3V and 5V supply voltage.
You can use either the I2C or SPI interface to light up the display with your microcontroller to display words, images, and whatever you want. SPI helps to get the quicker images reaction which brings a better product experience.
Thanks to suggestions from @Scott Bridges and @Paul Rodgers, we put the grove connector on the back. Such a user-friendly design helps easily hide the connecting wires and makes a pretty production display.
