A high-performance "Mini" digital servo that packs a surprising punch for its size. Designed to sit comfortably between the standard 9g micro servo and the larger "Standard" servo class, it offers a robust solution for projects where space is limited but torque cannot be compromised.

Makers building 1/16 scale RC crawlers, walking or compact robots, often face a dilemma: micro servos strip their gears under load, while standard servos are too bulky to fit the chassis. The FT-1018 solves this by delivering an impressive 7.5 kg·cm of torque (at 7.4V) in a compact 20g package. Its ability to accept up to 8.4V means it can run directly off a 2S LiPo battery, eliminating the need for bulky BEC voltage regulators.

Built with a full-metal gear train and digital control circuitry, this servo provides precise 180-degree positioning and exceptional holding power. Whether you are upgrading the steering on a small RC vehicle or building a high-torque robotic gripper, the FT-1018 offers the durability and power density required for demanding applications.

Features

  • High Torque, Compact Frame: Delivers 7.5 kg·cm of torque -nearly 5x that of a standard FS90 micro servo - while weighing only 20g.
  • 2S LiPo Ready (High Voltage): Operates reliably up to 8.4V, allowing for simple, direct battery connections in portable projects without complex BEC wiring.
  • All-Metal Gearing: Features a durable metal gear train designed to resist stripping during shock loads or stalls, essential for walking robots and RC steering.
  • Digital Precision: Utilises digital control logic for sharper holding power and more accurate positioning compared to analogue alternatives.
