Do I need prior experience to use the Starter Kit?

Not at all! The kit is designed for complete beginners — you’ll learn everything step by step through hands-on projects.

What’s included in the Starter Kit R4?

You’ll get the UNO R4 WiFi board, a full set of electronic components, a printed project book with 13 guided experiments, certification voucher for the Arduino Fundamental exam and access to exclusive online content and Arduino AI Assistant.

How do I access the online content?

Simply register your product at arduino.cc/start. Once registered and signed in with your Arduino account, you’ll unlock translation packs, and extra projects.

Do I need an Arduino account?

Yes. Creating a free Arduino account allows you to register your kit, access translations, save your progress, and use online tools like the Web Editor and GenAI assistant.

What’s the certification voucher included in the kit?

Every Starter Kit R4 includes a voucher code to take the Arduino Fundamentals certification exam. It’s an online test that validates your skills in electronics and programming. You can redeem your voucher here: arduino.cc/education/certification

What compliance does the kit have?

CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

  • $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
  • $7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
  • $11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
  • Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

  • $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
  • $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)
