This little display is perfect for a dedicated, simple Raspberry Pi touch-interface. Simply plug it onto the Pi's GPIO and execute the provided installation command.

While you might not want to run a complicated shell session or browse the web on this display, it's ideal for baking your own graphical user-interfaces (GUIs) right into your Pi.

It should be noted that this display is compatible with all Model B/B+ Raspberry Pi's as well as Raspberry Pi Zero/Zero W

Installation

With the screen facing towards you and the Pi facing towards you with the GPIO Pins on the top left, the left-most male headers on the Pi are plugged into the left-most female headers on the LCD Display.

We've had the most success by using this Github Repository, LCD-show

If you already have Raspbian installed, start from step 2.

Some users experience a slow mouse when the display is installed. If you have this problem follow these steps:

In the Terminal enter:

sudo nano /boot/cmdline.txt

Go all the way to the end of the first line, hit space and type this:

usbhid.mousepoll=0

Then click CTRL+X

Then when it asks “Save modified buffer?”, press y and then enter.

Reboot and your mouse will be back in action!

Resolution

480 x 320

Dimensions

80mm x 55mm x 7mm (Excluding GPIO Connector )
