  • Mass SD card Image Writer
  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...

Works just fine however there were two issues. 1. Both controllers I ordered had issues with the d-pad sending signals, I opened them and saw a small square piece of clear tape on the pcb at the center of the d-pad area. Once removed the d-pad worked just fine. 2. One of the controllers had a shoulder button that wouldn't send signals. I re-soldered the shoulder button pcb with the main pcb and that did the trick. Apart from that the build quality seems much better than I thought it would be at that price. However I must remove some stars for the fact that if I did not know how to repair these issues, I would probably have returned them. Highly recommend the 8bitdo SNES controller instead (can be used wired if lag is a concern) :). (Posted on 1/08/2017)

Great little controllers, for 12 bucks you can't go wrong, I bought these because the PS3 controllers I was using wirelessly were getting a slight lag, makes it super hard on some of the retro games like Mario where you need to jump at precise times. (Posted on 10/07/2017)

Works fine, although found I had to manually remap buttons in mupen64plus to match my 8bitdo sfc30 controller. (Posted on 25/04/2017)

Awesome combo with raspberry Pi, If your tv is far away from where you are sitting maybe get a wireless model as cable length is not the best (Posted on 3/03/2017)

Looks like a classic SNES controller. Buttons don't have exactly the same feel, but it's more than adequate. (Posted on 17/01/2017)

Decent enough controller for the price. Feels a bit cheap, but they are cheap. Cable is a reasonable length (~1.8 metres), not too short but not ridiculously long.

Does the job if you do not need analog joysticks or have other controllers (PS3, XBOX, etc) already available. (Posted on 12/12/2016)

Bought this as part of the RetroPie gaming kit for SNES.
Feels just like the original SNES controller. All buttons are very responsive. Works great with the Raspberry Pi/RetroPie to play those old games designed for this controller. (Posted on 21/09/2016)
