A rugged, all-terrain STEM robot that bridges the gap between mechanical engineering, electronics and programming. This isn't just a robot; it’s a mechatronic companion with an on-screen personality, designed to make complex concepts feel approachable, interactive, and inspiring for the next generation of Makers.
The "brain" of the bot is the CyberPi, which integrates a suite of internal and external sensors to breathe life into your creations. From high-precision ultrasonic sensors that sense surroundings to an arrayed RGB sensor for advanced line following, the mBot2 Rover interacts with its environment in real-time. Whether it's detecting light levels, avoiding obstacles, or providing actuator feedback.
Break free from the constraints of the classroom floor. Equipped with a dual rugged track system and independent metal shock absorbers, the mBot2 Rover is built for the outdoors. It effortlessly traverses grass, gravel, and rocky terrain while scaling inclines of up to 40 degrees. By moving the lab outdoors, the Rover transforms any backyard or playground into a testing ground for real-world robotics.
Built for versatility
The mBot2 Rover features a modular 3-in-1 design. Using the precision-engineered mechanical parts and intuitive guides, makers can assemble three distinct configurations: the Rover, the Robot Arm, and the Carrier - before diving into custom builds. This hands-on assembly process provides a foundational understanding of structural design.
