The Gravity: UV Index Sensor is a highly sensitive device designed to measure ultraviolet (UV) radiation in the wavelength range of 240-370 nm, which includes UVA, UVB, and UVC wavelengths. The sensor primarily focuses on the UVB range, making it ideal for applications such as skin health assessment and UV index monitoring. This device directly outputs the UV index from 0 to 11 and provides a harm risk warning from 1 to 5, eliminating the need for additional calculations. It is versatile, supporting both I2C and UART communication methods, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of master control systems.

Direct UV Index and Harm Level Output

The UV Index 240-370 Sensor provides real-time UV index values ranging from 0 to 11 and harm levels from 1 to 5, offering immediate data without the need for conversion. This direct output simplifies the process for users, making it particularly useful for real-time monitoring of UV radiation and assessing the risk of skin damage.

Wide UV Wavelength Range

The sensor measures UV radiation across the 240-370 nm range, covering the UVA, UVB, and UVC segments. With a focus on the UVB range, it can be effectively used for applications like skin health monitoring and environmental UV radiation assessments.

Dual Communication Modes (I2C & UART)

With support for both I2C and UART communication protocols, the sensor can be easily integrated with a variety of systems and devices. This flexibility makes it suitable for diverse applications, from environmental monitoring to photovoltaic system optimization.
