An all-in-one playground for the Raspberry Pi Pico: drop in your Pico and twelve pre-wired modules are ready to program, with no soldering, no breadboard and no jumper wires.
Getting started with a microcontroller usually means a bag of breakout boards and a tangle of wires, and every one of them is a chance for a loose connection. The PicoMate puts a full sensor suite, a display, inputs and outputs on a single PCB that is already routed to the Pico's GPIO. You spend your time writing code instead of hunting down wiring faults.
When your project outgrows the desk, the board grows with it. Each module breaks away from the main PCB and reconnects with the included Grove cables. Every Pico GPIO is broken out to headers, with up to 11 Grove connectors for adding your own hardware. A battery connector and the included 3x AA holder let you take your build anywhere.
Getting started:
- Fit your Raspberry Pi Pico or Pico W into the dock
- Flash CircuitPython onto the Pico and copy the DeskPi library bundle to the
libfolder - Open the examples in Mu Editor or Thonny and start experimenting

- $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
- $7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
- $11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
- Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.
Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.
Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.
International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:
- $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
- $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)
If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
