Keep your Pi cool with this semi-transparent case. It's rounded edges and stylish design make it perfect for display as a media or games center, and the built in fan & vents ensure plenty of circulation to keep your Pi stable under high loads. Includes the screws required to securely mount your Raspberry Pi Model B+ board.

Due to supplier changes, the case may come with a fan which is slightly shorter than the mounting standoffs. It will still function as normal, and the gap doesn't cause any extra noise or interference with the Pi below.

  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...

Not as nicely made and easy to use as the official Pi case. Some of the openings needed a little work with a small file to get things to go together properly. Ventilation is better than the official case. (Posted on 17/04/2018)

Awesome case, helps keep everything cool especially when paired with the 3pc Heatskin Kit (Posted on 9/04/2018)

I have written already a review for the RPi 3 B+ elsewhere. In that review, I mentioned that I purchased the case for the RPi 3B+ with the fan. This is because my programs may be computationally intensive because I will be experimenting with audio, video and number crunching. I decided to purchase this case because of the provision for an electric fan which can be connected to the +ve and gnd pins of the GPIO. The fan provides cooling in addition to the heat dissipation from the heatsink kit.
    Thank you,

This case worked well to cool my RPi down so thermal limiting doesn't kick in. (Posted on 2/01/2018)

Excellent. The fan is not loud and it does its job. The case itself is pretty, it's cool that you can still see the Raspberry. (Posted on 1/01/2018)

Superb clear case and fan cooling is excellent. Fan can be noisy until it is warmed up; pulling apart the fan for a drop of oil is probably all that is needed - but I would buy this case with fan anyhow; I would not buy a Pi3 case without a fan. (Posted on 21/12/2017)

Very easy to install the Pi in the case without problems.

The only issue I had was when installing the fan, as there are no instructions supplied. So it is not clear:
    1) which pins you connect the fan to on the board for it to work
    2) which way round the fan should go

I think simple instructions would be nice, so the users do not have to scour the internet trying to find out the solutions themselves.

In operating, the fan is pretty quiet, but is noticeable. But if it keeps my RPi 3 cool during the hot summer months in my apartment then i think it's worth every cent.

This case is the bees knees. Would have been nice to include some instructions on where and how to connect fan (yes you use the GPIO cable header) but if you have a GPIO cable in-place the fan really becomes non useful. (Posted on 27/11/2017)

    Pi protection = solved
    Heat extraction issues = solved
Sturdy on the go solution = solved
    Ease of asembaly = solved
    Value of money = winning

If your Pi is hot and steamy then why not give it some attention with this transparent a rousing case that includes a fan directly on top of the cpu for that added breeze on a hot summers day feel of comfort and chill. Paire with a heatsink ams your golden. (Posted on 20/10/2017)

The best case I've seen yet, the parts fit really well, coupled with a heat sink this case is a must. (Posted on 31/08/2017)
