Bring a high-gloss, silk-smooth surface finish to your 3D printer. This filament is intended for general-purpose printing where a premium metallic-like sheen, bold colour choice and eye-catching appearance matter more than high-temperature or heavy structural performance (as with any other PLA blend).
This material is a practical choice for display models, props, cosplay, decorative objects, gifts, holiday décor and visual design pieces. The silk sheen lends prints a luxurious, almost chrome-like look that lifts them well beyond the standard "3D printed" appearance - making it useful wherever a print needs to catch the eye and feel premium.
Features
- Shiny Like Chrome, Smooth Like Silk: An enhanced-sheen silk finish that gives each print a glossy, metallic-like surface, elevating decorative and display pieces.
- Enhanced Layer Adhesion: Engineered for strength as well as looks - improved layer bonding gives better resistance to bending and impact than generic silk PLA, so you don't trade durability for shine.
- Automatic Parameter Syncing (AMS): Each spool features a built-in RFID tag that communicates directly with the Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System), automatically loading the correct material type and colour profile.
- Eco-Friendly Spool System: Compatible with Bambu Lab's reusable spool system. By purchasing "Refill" coils rather than a full new spool, you reduce plastic waste and save a few dollars on every purchase.
Printing tip: slow the outer wall speed to around 50 mm/s for the best gloss, and dry the filament before use for the most consistent finish.

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):
- $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
- $7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
- $11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
- Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.
Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.
Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.
International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:
- $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
- $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)
If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
