The Weller Portasol Kit is a fantastic box filled with a pocket-sized, butane-powered soldering iron as well as multiple attachments for it. Each soldering iron has been equipped with a push-button Piezo ignition that adjusts from 25-Watt to 75-Watt for ease and convenience. This iron is versatile too, functioning as a soldering iron, hot air gun, butane torch or hot knife; youâ€™ll be hard pressed to find something you canâ€™t do! Itâ€™s ready to use quickly â€” fewer than 40 seconds after ignition â€” and can run for up to 60 minutes on a single tank of butane.

These soldering irons are completely cordless and would be very useful for field repairs. As a bonus, since the Weller Portasol Butane Soldering Iron is powered by butane fuel, there is no danger of electrical current leakage damaging sensitive components.

This product includes the soldering iron, a mini blow torch tip, a hot knife tip, a hot air tip and deflector, and a protective cap â€” all contained in a handy travel case.

Note: Butane fluid is NOT included.

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

$3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
$7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
$11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

$12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
$16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
