This is a black anodised aluminium case designed for the Raspberry Pi 5. Its main feature is passive cooling, which is made possible by a large heatsink built into the aluminium frame. This design efficiently dissipates heat, keeping the device cool and maintaining its performance.

The case is user-friendly, featuring clearly labelled cutouts and easy access to the 40-PIN GPIO for hassle-free connections. It also includes a slot for camera and display cables and has rubber feet for stability. A QR code on the packaging provides quick access to assembly instructions.

Designed with a polycarbonate base, the case provides a good wireless signal transmission, which is essential for WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. It's versatile and compatible with various mounting options like the DIN Rail Mount Clip for industrial use, the UNC Thread Bracket for tripod mounting, and the Camera Holder for projects requiring cameras.

Notes:

  • The Raspberry Pi 5, UNC Thread Bracket, Camera Holder, Camera, and the DIN Rail Mount Clip are NOT included
  • To use the camera with a Raspberry Pi 5, you will need to buy an adapter cable

Features

  • Silent Passive Cooling: Large black anodised aluminium heatsink for silent and effective thermal management.
