An advanced, automated material handling system designed to manage, feed, and actively dry up to four different filaments simultaneously during 3D printing. It seamlessly integrates with the Bambu Lab ecosystem to enable complex multi-colour and multi-material prints without manual intervention.

Moisture-sensitive filaments like PETG, Nylon, and PVA are notorious for absorbing ambient humidity, leading to stringing, poor layer adhesion, and ultimately failed prints. The AMS 2 Pro prevents this by functioning as a 65°C drying chamber with active air venting, ensuring your engineering materials remain perfectly dry while you print complex parts with reassurance.

* Filaments marked with * require higher drying temperature. The AMS 2 Pro cannot dry them completely. If you want better drying performance for these filaments, we recommend purchasing an AMS HT.
*The maximum temperature of the drying function can only be achieved when the ambient temperature is above 25 °C. When the ambient temperature is below 25 °C, due to natural heat dissipation, the actual drying temperature may not reach the maximum value.

One AMS unit can be using a drying function at a time without a switching adapter; for multiple at the same time, a power adapter is required for each unit. 

X2D

X1 and P1 Series
To connect a single AMS 2 Pro unit to X1/P1 series printer, a Filament Buffer(SA003), a PTFE Tube Coupler(FAZ006), and a 4-pin Cable(CAB002-N) are required.

For drying function:
One Switching Adapter is required for each AMS 2 Pro unit.

A1 Series
To connect AMS 2 Pro unit(s) to A1 series printer, an A1 series AMS Hub (SA013) is required.

For drying function: One Switching Adapter is required for each AMS 2 Pro unit.

Products that weigh more than 0.5 KG may cost more than what's shown (for example, test equipment, machines, >500mL liquids, etc).

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

  • $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
  • $7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
  • $11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
  • Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

  • $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
  • $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
