The DFRduino M0 Audio Expansion Shield is powered by Wolfson’s advanced WM8978 Hi-Fi audio codec, delivering high-quality sound processing on the Arduino platform. It features a professional-grade digital signal processing core with support for 3D surround sound, a 5-band equalizer for tone adjustment, and a programmable notch filter to reduce electrical noise.

Leveraging the rich hardware resources of the DFRduino M0, this expansion shield brings Hi-Fi audio capabilities to Arduino development. It supports dual-channel playback, SD card audio storage, mono recording, and 3W dual-channel power amplification—all without needing a dedicated serial port MP3 module. This results in efficient use of system resources, flexible control, and easy integration.

The shield adopts a standard I²S interface and comes equipped with an onboard microphone and 3.5mm audio jack, making it simple to handle both analog input and output. Dedicated speaker terminals also allow you to directly connect left and right 3W speakers for immediate playback.

Note: This shield communicates via I²S and is only compatible with DFRduino M0 and Bluno M0 boards. It is not compatible with standard Arduino microcontrollers.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.
