  • Retro Hand held Pi Zero
  • I bought a Pi zero w from Core Electronics for a friend, also bought the official case too but thought I'd fit the Pi into something he can show off! I used an old hand held game case I had laying around, I had to remove the original circuit board and plan where to place the Pi board....

Any Pi can run RetroPie, but I recommend using the Raspberry Pi Ze...
  • Mass SD card Image Writer
  • We've built a mass SD card writer using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, some USB hubs and SD card readers. This beast has enough ports to write 49 SD cards at once! At Core Electronics, sometimes logistics hang-ups mean that suppliers cannot meet our demand for pre-flashed SD cards. During these periods we have to pick up the slack by manually imaging blank SD cards we source ourselves. Of course, this is a super-tedious process, and ...

Great product from a top company. (Posted on 13/07/2018)

The best Bluetooth receiver out there for NES Classic Edition. Very well built and solves the problem of the NES classic edition having very short controller leads.

The firmware version originally on the receiver was v1.03 and I had to update it to v1.1 to solve some input lag, pairing delays and the input abruptly dropping of in 2 player mode. Works quite well now with my 8bitdo NES30 (N30) wireless controllers. So make sure you upgrade the firmware on the receiver (and your 8bitdo controllers) before playing. (Posted on 18/05/2018)

Works good with SNES Classic mini console, and also works great when connected to my PC via microUSB! The microUSB port is primarily for firmware updates I THOUGHT, but it is also recognised as a "gamepad" on Windows... so it would be perfect for a desktop PC that doesn't have built-in Bluetooth. 4. Review by S verified purchaser

After firmware update, syncs with my SF30 Pro controller really easily. No input lag on my SNES mini. Definitely recommend buying if you want to play on your couch without wires. (Posted on 2/02/2018)

Works perfectly. Remember to update via 8bitdo website for SNES mini. (Posted on 3/11/2017)

Can confirm that this DOES work with the SNES Classic, as well as the NES Classic.
No trouble connection to the 8bitdo controller either. The only issue is that the power draw from the SNES now is greater than the USB out on the TV can output (500mA), and the SNES will often not turn on if using power from the TV. Easily fixed using a 1A wall USB power supply. (Posted on 31/10/2017)
