A miniature tower heatsink and fan that bolts straight onto your Raspberry Pi's processor, borrowing the single-stack cooler design from desktop gaming PCs.

The Raspberry Pi 4 runs hot under sustained load, and once the SoC reaches its thermal limit it throttles to protect itself. A copper heat pipe draws heat from the CPU up into a stack of aluminium fins, where a 40 mm fan pushes it away. That makes this a good fit for media centres, home servers and overclocking projects that keep the CPU busy for long periods.

The low-profile design keeps the tower compact, and the fan runs from the Pi's own GPIO header, so you don't need a separate power supply. Steel mounting brackets, brass standoffs and thermal pads are included for the Pi 4 Model B, 3 Model B+ and 3 Model B.

Setup takes a few minutes:

  • Fit the mounting brackets to the cooler
  • Apply a thermal pad to the Pi's SoC
  • Secure the brackets to the Pi with the standoffs and nuts
  • Connect the red lead to a 5V pin and the black lead to GND

Features

  • Draws heat away from the CPU quickly, thanks to a 5 mm copper heat pipe feeding a single-stack fin tower
  • Low-profile tower that keeps the build compact without giving up much fin area
  • Powered from the GPIO header (5V, 0.4 W), so no extra supply or cabling is needed
  • Runs quieter if needed: move the red lead from 5V to 3V3 for lower fan speed and noise (the LEDs dim too)
  • Colour-changing LED fan that cycles automatically, with no setup needed
  • Acrylic protection panel and steel brackets for a sturdy, protected install
  • Includes all the hardware, thermal pads and a screwdriver for Pi 4B, 3B+ and 3B
