The LilyPad Arduino 328 Main Board is an Arduino-programmed microcontroller designed to be easily integrated into e-textiles and wearable projects. It offers the same functionality you find in other Arduino boards, in a lightweight, round package designed to minimize snagging and profile, with wide tabs that can be sewn down and connected with conductive thread.
The LilyPad Simple just got a whole lot… simpler. We’ve updated the Simple board to create the LilyPad USB by replacing the classic ATMega328 with the new ATMega32U4. Not only does that mean that it’s running a variation of the latest and greatest bootloader, but it also means no more FTDI Basic! The only extra piece of hardware you need to program the LilyPad USB is a micro-USB cable, since the new IC has built-in USB support. The LilyPad USB is also officially supported in the Arduino IDE as of version 1.0.2!
The LilyPad MP3 Player is your all-in-one audio solution, containing an Arduino-compatible microcontroller, MP3 (and many other formats) audio decoder chip, micro-SD card socket, and a stereo audio amplifier. Part of the Lilypad E-textiles line, this board can be used to give your fabric creations the gift of music, or any other sounds you can put on a micro-SD card.
We designed this board to give the user a low profile button without any sharp edges. Button closes when you push it and opens when you release (momentary push button).
Sure, your flashing, chip-tune playing T-shirt is really cool at the party… but at some point you need to turn it off. And yes, you could just pull the battery, or maybe you’ve even sewn a LilyPad slide switch in-line. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was just a switch on the battery? Well, look no further.

The LilyTwinkle is a tiny little LilyPad board designed to add some twinkle to your project. Even though it’s as small as some of the LilyPad sensors, this board actually has an ATtiny microcontroller on it so it’s actually pretty smart! Simply sew on 4 LEDs and connect a battery and the LEDs will twinkle-fade (a lot like fireflies… or lightning bugs, if that’s what you call them). LilyTwinkle is a quick and easy way to add twinkling lights to a project without any programming or a bulky Main Board.
The LilyTiny is a tiny little LilyPad board designed to add flashy functionality to your project without taking up a lot of room. Even though it’s as small as some of the LilyPad sensors, this board actually has an ATtiny microcontroller on it so it’s actually pretty smart! Simply sew on 4 LEDs and connect a battery and the LEDs will each blink or fade differently. One will blink on and off (2), another will flash a heartbeat pattern (1), another will do a “breathing” fade (0) and the other will do a random fade (3). LilyTiny is a quick and easy way to add twinkling lights to a project without any programming or a bulky Main Board. It’s also a great educational tool for showing a range of functionality without having to get out the computers.
Apply 5V and be shaken by this small, but powerful vibration motor. Works great as an physical indicator without notifying anyone but the wearer. This version uses a surface mount motor which is less likely to be damaged during use.
This is a three axis accelerometer for the LilyPad system. Based on the ADXL335 MEMS accelerometer from Analog Devices, the LilyPad Accelerometer can detect joint movement as well as inclination and vibration.
Detecting temperature changes has never been easier. The MCP9700 is a small thermistor type temperature sensor. This sensor will output 0.5V at 0 degrees C, 0.75V at 25 C, and 10mV per degree C. Doing an analog to digital conversion on the signal line will allow you to establish the local ambient temperature. Detect physical touch based on body heat and ambient conditions with this small sensor.
This is a small buzzer for the LilyPad system. Use 2 I/O pins on the LilyPad main board and create different noises based on the different frequency of I/O toggling. Loud enough to hear inside a pocket but not obtrusively loud.
The LilyPad Simple Power is a simple e-textile board that lets you connect and charge a lipo battery and switch it on or off, that’s it! We provide you with a JST connector and a slide switch, you supply the battery and sewing skills! With this LilyPad Simple Power, you should find no trouble in added a bit of power to your next wearable circuit.
This is the LilyPad Rainbow LED strip, with seven LilyPad LEDs that are still attached to one another, letting you snap LEDs apart at your leisure to sew into clothing or whatever else you can dream up.
This is a simple pack of five Yellow LilyPad LEDs that are still attached to one another, letting you snap the LEDs apart at your leisure to sew into clothing or whatever else you can dream up.
