This is the Low Profileversion of the 52Pi Low-profile ICE Tower cooler for the Raspberry Pi, offering an alternative layout with the fan pushing the hot air away from the Raspberry Pi. This model also uses a lower-profile 4010 fan (no LEDs) which hides behind the heatsink for a cleaner look and greater protection.

The cooling concept is otherwise the same as the original ICE Tower and Low-profile ICE Tower. Just like an aftermarket cooler for a full-size desktop PC, it uses a central 5mm copper heatpipe to quickly conduct heat away from the Raspberry Pi CPU. Heat moves up into the heat pipes, allowing the included fan to blow cool, crisp air over the fins and away from the board, bringing temperatures down quickly and efficiently.

The fan is powered by the Raspberry Pi's GPIO pins (5V and GND) removing the need for a separate dedicated power supply.

Hardware is included to mount this to your Raspberry Pi 4 or Raspberry Pi 3B+/3/2/B+, including mounting brackets, fixings and thermal pads. If you prefer, a thermal compound can also be used in place of the thermal pad. Experiment with your favourite PC thermal compound and bring those temperatures down even further!

Alternative ICE Towers!

We also stock the original ICE Tower with RGB LED fan, and the original Low-profile ICE Tower with RGB LED fan.
