This SSD base enclosure for Argon ONE Raspberry Pi cases allows you to fit a 2.5" SSD below your Argon ONE V2/M.2 - a tidy way to add additional fast storage and maintain the sleek lines of the Argon ONE case!

Note: SSD, SATA USB cable and Argon ONE case not included! This is the base enclosure only - you'll need to add your own 2.5" SSD, an SSD to USB 3.0 cable and an Argon ONE case.

The base is constructed of two laser-cut matte black Perspex panels which match the lines of the Argon ONE cases. To keep the case flush and steady on the base, we've positioned the securing screws in the same place as the Argon ONE screw holes as well as adding cutouts for the Argon rubber feet - ensuring the case stays in place without the need for adhesive tape.

We've also added cut-outs for the Argon ONE base vent holes to ensure good airflow and engraved position indicators for the included rubber feet - which keep the unit steady and vibration-free on your desk.

Note: Some simple assembly is required! Please see the assembly guide for more information.

Compatibility

The SSD base is compatible with the Argon ONE V2, M.2 and Nanosound ONE.

When using the base with the Argon M.2, you may want to upgrade your power supply, to ensure enough current is available for the internal M.2 SSD along with your USB connected SSD.

We have tested this case with Western Digital SSDs and PiHuts SSD to USB cable. Other hardware may not be compatible however almost all 2.5" SSDs use the same mounting holes as standard.

Package Contents

  • 2x Perspex base panels
  • 12x M2.5 6mm nylon screws
  • 6x M2.5 8mm nylon standoffs
  • 4x M3 nylon screws (for mounting the SSD)
  • 4x rubber feet
