All of the capability of a professional engineering-grade 3D stereolithography printer at a budget-conscious price. Perfect for Makers who want to print strong, accurate and highly detailed parts without waiting for parts to finish, messy machines and failed prints.
The Form Studio 1 can print much faster than other SLA 3D printers, with most parts completing in less than 2 hours* with fine detail, and made from premium-grade materials. Resins have been specifically formulated with home and office use in mind; when combined with the new Alpha resin family and the Formlabs VOC Extractor, the system claims the title for the first 3D SLA system on the market with UL GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions.
These new Alpha resin formulations (along with all other Formlabs resins) mean reliable print success and consistent material properties. But that doesn't mean you can't BYO resin with the Form Studio 1. Out of the box, each unit has "Open Material Mode" enabled, meaning any resin can be used.

Form Studio 1 Resin Tank Pro: Optimised for compatibility with a wide range of different resins. Compatible with Tough 1500 Resin V2, and required for any material used in Open Material Mode. (Purchased Separately)

Release Texture V2: An updated proprietary microtextured optical film surrounded by perimeter channels that increase airflow and passively reduce the forces exerted on parts during printing.

Light Processing Unit Studio 1 (LPU S1): Precisely masks light from the backlight unit into the shape of a printed layer.

Backlight Unit: Generates a uniform area projection of an ultra-high-power light using 28 LEDs with a plano-convex lens array.

Products that weigh more than 0.5 KG may cost more than what's shown (for example, test equipment, machines, >500mL liquids, etc).
We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):
- $3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
- $7+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
- $11+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
- Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.
Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.
Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.
International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:
- $12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
- $16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)
If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
