This two channel 24-bit feedback suppressor uses a fast feedback detection algorithm for preventing unwanted feedback in live audio installations. When feedback occurs it isolates the frequencies and eliminates them without affecting the quality of audio reproduction. The unit automatically monitors 12 frequencies per channel, setting notch filters to attenuate feedback from the audio signal. A quick setup ‘automatic mode’ continuously monitors for feedback using factory presets. Sensitivity can be adjusted to -3dB, -6dB or -9dB. Alternatively up to 10 custom presets may be created to suit the equipment and environment being employed. Each preset allows individual customisation of 24 parametric filters with frequency, bandwidth & gain adjustments. This allows it to be used as a parametric EQ when tailoring sound output for different venue configurations. Connection for each input and output is via either 3-pin XLR or 6.35mm jack.
