Welcome to the first chapter of the Arduino workshop. In this chapter, we'll be looking at what Arduino is, where it came from, and how we can use it as makers. We'll also be looking at the coding environment known as the Arduino IDE or Integrated Development Environment. Powering up your board, connecting your Arduino to the computer, and by the end of this chapter, you will have uploaded your very first program to your Arduino board. So let's dive into Arduino.
