The Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT, a compatible expansion board for Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B,is designed to enhance your Raspberry Pi by adding PoE+ capabilities to its Ethernet port.It stands out with its superior heat dissipation and increased power capacity.

Support for 802.3af PoE Network Standard

This allows a Raspberry Pi to be powered and connected to the network using a single Ethernet cable, simplifying the setup process and reducing cable clutter.

Fully Isolated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS)

Equipped with a fully isolated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT ensures a stable and efficient power supply. This protects the device from potential damage caused by power surges and fluctuations.

37-57V DC Input and 5V/5A DC Output

With a 37-57V DC input and a 5V/5A DC output, the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT provides sufficient power to handle a Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B under maximum load. This ensures that power-intensive applications can run without any power shortages.

25mm x 25mm Brushless Cooling Fan

This helps to maintain an optimal temperature for the Raspberry Pi, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the device.

Hardware Connection Steps

Before installing the PoE HAT, first install the provided standoffs at the four corners of the circuit board.

Align the PoE HAT with the 40-pin and 4-pin PoE interfaces of the Raspberry Pi and connect them.

After connecting the PoE HAT board, you can power and connect to the network through an Ethernet cable connected to a PoE device.

When removing the PoE HAT, pull evenly to make the module smoothly detach from the Raspberry Pi pin header, avoiding bending the pins.

Precautions

Only PoE devices that comply with the 802.3af standard can be used for power supply.

The external power supply used by Raspberry Pi should comply with the relevant regulations and standards applicable to the intended use.

It should be operated in a well-ventilated environment and should not be used in an enclosed manner.

During use, it should be placed on a stable, flat, non-conductive surface and should not come into contact with conductive items.

Do not block or obstruct the fan, and do not insert anything into the fan.

Do not expose this product to water, humid environments, or high-temperature environments. This product is designed to operate under normal room temperatures.

Care must be taken during use to avoid mechanical or electrical damage to the printed circuit board and connectors.

Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

$12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
$16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
