This little two-faced cutie is so versatile! Its WiFi half can be used to make Internet of Things devices cable-free or They also love to take advantage of a single-board Linux computer's USB ports to add a low-cost, but high-reliability wireless link. The Bluetooth side of things can be used for all kinds of BLE connectivity projects and devices. It's great for when you only have a single USB port (a.k.a. Raspberry Pi A+ or BeagleBone) as there's no need for a hub to add both types of wireless.

If you only need a WiFi Module, Adafruit love Adafruit's Miniature WiFi Module and ModMyPi's beefier USB Dual-Band WiFi Module. For just Bluetooth Adafruit's Bluetooth 4.0 USB Module is killer.

Drivers for Bluetooth modules are built into Windows 10+ so you do not need to install any software or download anything. Just plug it in and let Windows auto-install the BT driver, it may take a few minutes!

For Linux, a kernel module install is required, but given the RTL8723BU is the only chipset available it wasn't too bad. A tutorial is at https://raspmer.blogspot.com/2018/07/mantistek-wa150-wifibluetooth-rtl8723bu.html - Adafruit ran it on a Raspberry Pi Zero and it worked, just took a while to complete the install.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

$16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)
