Smart home shouldn't need a subscription. Zooz builds Z-Wave sensors, relays and hubs that keep your data at home and your automations under your control.
Z-Wave runs on its own sub-GHz frequency, away from the crowded 2.4 GHz band shared by Wi-Fi, Zigbee and Bluetooth. Mains-powered Z-Wave devices form a self-healing mesh that gets stronger as you add to it. Every certified device must support S2 encryption and work with other certified Z-Wave products, whatever the brand. Battery-powered sensors are designed to run for years between changes, and everything works locally, with no internet connection or cloud account required.
Zooz builds on those strengths with Australian-frequency devices that are easy to add to a Home Assistant setup. Turn a Raspberry Pi into a Z-Wave hub with the Z-Wave GPIO HAT Hub or the Z-Wave USB Hub Stick. Then build out your network with open/close, tilt/shock, temperature/humidity and water leak sensors. The Universal Relay lets you automate existing wired devices, and over-the-air firmware updates keep your devices current.
For installers and integrators, Zooz devices also work with platforms such as Homey and SmartThings. Built by the team behind US smart home retailer The Smartest House, Zooz products are shaped by hands-on experience and customer feedback.
